The SAIBA Youth League (YL) is open to all business and professional individuals of African, Coloured and Indian ethnicity between the ages of 23 to 35. Its objectives are to unite and lead young men and women as a collective in addressing and dealing with the problems that face the youth of South Africa, and in ensuring that the youth play an important role in shaping the future. As well as providing a platform to network amongst likeminded individuals and established businesses.

The SAIBA YL functions as an independent body within the overall structure of SAIBA, of which it will be an integral part, with its own rules and regulations, provided that these are not in conflict with the structure of the overarching SAIBA organisation.

One significant issue confronting our demographic is the absence of a dedicated forum for African, Coloured, and Indian youth to engage in open and substantive dialogues concerning the future of South Africa. Additionally, there is a lack of opportunities for the youth to network, which would facilitate potential business collaborations and collective growth. The SAIBA YL aims to address these gaps by providing a structured platform for discourse and networking amongst our members.

Mission
Our mission is to create a platform for meaningful engagement and communication between the youth of South Africa. We aim to provide resources, opportunities, and a supportive network to facilitate open communication between the youth and decision makers.

Vision
The vision of the SAIBA Youth League is to cultivate a comprehensive repository of business knowledge, drawing from the insights of the members of SAIBA. We aim to disseminate this invaluable information freely among all SAIBA youth members. This initiative is designed to provide a voice with a focus on empowering the youth of African, Coloured, and Indian descent through education and opportunity.

Governance
The SAIBA YL governance structure will consist of both males and females. The governance team will facilitate and organise all events, they will be the direct link to the main SAIBA members. The governance structure will be in-charge of the entire SAIBA YL and decide its policies, budgets and ways or working.
